With a forward-looking commitment to both established and emerging artists, the Foundation seeks to honor legacies while investing in the creators shaping the future.

The Altenbernd Foundation is established as a nonprofit organization in the State of Florida and is pursuing recognition as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Officially launched in July 2026, the Foundation is developing its initial programming and welcoming early supporters as we prepare to introduce public initiatives in late summer 2026. Our long-term vision is to establish a museum dedicated exclusively to contemporary art in Central Florida—creating a space for exhibitions, education, dialogue, and meaningful engagement with artists and communities.
